To promote mutual understanding and effectiveness, this brief set of guidelines has been prepared. After reading them, if you have
any questions, feel free to discuss them with us. 1.
There is no charge for our initial meeting. Services to be rendered, expected results and the associated fees will be discussed, delineated and agreed on, in writing, before any work is to commence. This often requires that the overall task be approached in phases, with the first phase addressing definition of the project and development of its scope. Revisions and adjustments will be addressed, in writing, on an as needed basis.
2.
Fees are charged on the basis of time. In addition, time spent traveling to and from work assignments are billed at one-half the stated consulting rate. When needed, commercial travel, living and other specific out-of-pocket expenses are charged on the basis of reimbursement. A retainer is required to commence work. Services and expenses will be invoiced weekly and payment will be expected the following week.
3.
Work will be expedited on a priority basis, consistent with professional thoroughness and mindful of the requirements of your daily operations. 4.
Our relationship is considered privileged and private. All information will be held in strict confidence. Services will be rendered ethically and honestly consistent with the Code for Professional Practice of the Association of Management Consultants.
